This year, the Universal Church celebrates the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025, the 1700th anniversary of the first great Ecumenical Council, the 350th anniversary of the apparitions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the 75th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 

This Jubilee Year presents an opportunity for PCNE XI and all the faithful to a moment of genuine encounter with the Risen Lord, the source of our hope, and the Blessed Virgin Mary, the exemplary witness of faith “so that we may bear credible and attractive witness to the faith and love that dwell in our hearts; that our faith may be joyful and our charity enthusiastic.” 

In the context of synodality, PCNE XI invites its participants to move from last year’s SALYA to SYNODAL WITNESSING, to continue journeying together in mission: Padayon!

PCNE XI invites its participants to give witness in the spirit of synodality and by way of synodality, to our Christian faith that the first great Ecumenical Council, that of Nicaea, whose 1700th anniversary is recalled this year, debated, unanimously approved and beautifully expressed in the Creed that we still recite each Sunday at the celebration of the Eucharist. 

Finally, joining the Church in celebrating the Jubilee Year, PCNE XI invites the participants in their synodal witnessing to our Christian faith to be patient pilgrims of hope, active sharers of faith, and joyful missionaries of love.
